Victoria's Makeup Secrets

Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows are all about glamour, but it’s not just the bedazzled undergarments, larger than life head gears, feather and tussles – it is also so very much about the flawless, photoshopped luminous skin that all the ramp models flaunt. From the bouncy shiny hair to the right amount of pink on the cheeks. From the pearly white smiles to the glow that could be seen from oceans away. But how do they pull it all off?

Of course, it has a lot of hard work, strenuous fitness routines, strict diets, and religious beauty regimes – and I say this with the utmost respect, being a model is no piece of cake, let alone being Victoria’s Secret model because their standards are unimaginably high and almost unreal. But along with all this, the fact is that makeup and grooming play a huge role in the outcome of their final looks.

For this year’s look, the inspiration was Gisele Bündchen, who was also a Victoria Secret model from 2000 till 2007. The bar was set high to her natural style, which was healthy, happy and flawless. I think I have written enough now to consider it as an introductory body of my write-up so now let’s come straight to the point and talk about the products VS models used to literally look like angels.

To begin with Charlotte Tilbury, from the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Ltd and Contributing Beauty Editor British Vogue used her brands’ Dry Sheet Instant Facial Mask, Charlottes Magic Cream and Magic Eye Rescue.

Once the canvas was clean the model’s skins were primed with Wonder Glow primer and for concealer, Magic Away and Hollywood Flawless Filter were used.

For the perfect sculpt look Tilbury went in with his Film Star Bronze and Glow Palette to contour and highlight - Illuminating Beauty Light Wand was also applied for the extra oomph.

To finish up the metallic bronzy look, Rose Gold Eyeshadows, Chocolate Brown Eyeliner and Victoria’s Secret Velvet Matte Lip cream, showstopper the cherry on the cake.

And don’t you dare think I'll leave out on the hair details - Conair - Infiniti Pro 3Q Compact Electronic Brushless Motor Styler and Infiniti Pro by Conair 2-In-1 Styler were the weapons in the battlefield for all those luscious looking locks.

Last but not least, the final touch was of the Victoria's Secret Love Star fragrance which smells of rosegold apple, white lily, and dark rum – am I in heaven?

So here it is .. go and get your GLOW freak on!
