Makeup Trends You Cannot Miss Out!

Don’t Be Afraid To Sparkle!

Remember two adjectives amply and profusely! Apply glitter, whatever color, whatever style on your makeup brushes and paint away your eyelids cheeks and lips!

But not to go overboard and look like you’ve woken up hungover, the morning after a Halloween party, make sure to focus on one feature at a time. Also, glitter also has colors and undertones, so make sure whatever shades you use to compliment your skin tone.

Caution: You do want the glitter to stay in place and not spread all over, right? So, do apply base makeup before so that the glitter sticks on well, and of course, always finish up the look with a setting spray.

Red Lips Like A Living Laughing Rose..
Need I say more? No, but I still will …  The perfect amount of chill in the air brings back the classic French elegance, the rich and vibrant carmine lips.

Lips are the focal point in most makeup looks, pay detailed attention to contouring your lips with lip liners, add-on mascara, and some translucent powder and you are ready to take the world by the storm. Apply lipstick directly from the stick or always have the help of a lip brush to fix those imperfect curves and edges.

Caution: Chapped, dry lips don’t give out a perfect pout ever! Pay attention on taking care of your lips. Have a basic sugar scrub for your lips, use lip masks, keep them moisturized and most importantly hydrate.

Dreaming With Your Eyes Wide Open!
Nights get longer, days get shorter and our eyes definitely need a wakeup call. Give your eyes that fresh pop of illumination with white shadows at the inner corner of your eyes. Matte or not, totally your call!

Make things easy and multitask. Use a small pointed brush to enhance the corner of your eyes, cheekbones, top of the cupid bow and point on your nose with a neutral illuminator.

Caution: White won’t make your dark spots peak out or make your complexion look pale if the base foundation is of the right shade – add in a little bronzer and it’ll take the look to a totally different level.

Make It Pop Like Pink Champaign

Contrast is important, you know why? Because it gives all the colors used individuality and uniqueness. Pale/ dark, warm/ cold, use gradients on your eyelids to create the perfect pop art.
Even if you are scared of mismatched colors – give it a try, you won't believe how well sometimes the most bizarre looking combinations rock the look.

Caution: Blend – Blend – Blend. If the pop of color on your eyes is too much for you, try keeping your lips subtle, but I'd say give your lips a pop of color too, don’t let colors scare you.
Lip Gloss Speaks Louder Than Words!
Baby its cold outside, but fresh summer lips are always the deal breaker. Have them glossy, shimmery with a hint of “just bitten” effect.
Pastels shades like rose, peach, mauve, lilac, plum are the best options to get the look.

Caution: Pay attention to the gloss texture as well, because no matter how perfect the lip shade is, if it doesn’t look silky/ soft it won’t speak louder than words.

Budget Friendly Makeup - Essence Cosmetics - Anum Thanvi Sharif

So, one of my dear friends suggested me to make a video on budget-friendly makeup for the everyday look and I loved the idea. I took up the challenge quickly and went on a makeup haul, to find out the best, long-lasting makeup products within the budget of PKR. 5000/-. And let me tell you guys, it wasn’t easy – the makeup prices are crazy out there!
These are not the products that I use on myself, but I was surprised to see the results that I got. If you have a combination skin, but more dry than oily, these products are perfect for you. This is an easy, everyday look (you can play around the lip shade though) and give yourself the perfect matte finish with a faux glow.
You are going to subscribe to my channel, right? Also, please comment below on what videos you want to see next.

Disclaimer: I’m not a makeup artist – this tutorial is all about what I do with my face every day. Also, to stay within the budget I have skipped a couple of steps e.g. Primer, Setting Spray etc. and I have also skipped using brushes for blending – BUT I would suggest you use dedicated brushes and/or beauty blender for applying your foundation, translucent powder, eyeshadows, blush, and highlighter.
